Pahrump Landfill – 1631 E. Mesquite Avenue

  • Open to residents 7 days per week, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • No hazardous materials. For information on hazardous material or used oil disposal, contact US Ecology at americanecology.com or Nye County at nyecounty.net.
  • Recycling program highlights:
    • Metal is removed from waste stream and recycled.
    • Wood is removed from the waste stream for on site grinding. Material used in compost production.
    • Cardboard is removed from the waste stream.
    • Concrete is removed.
    • Tires are removed.

Beatty Transfer Station – Located on Highway 374 heading toward Rhyolite

  • Site open 7 days per week, 24 hour access.
  • Put all garbage inside roll-off box.
  • No hazardous materials. For information on hazardous materials or used oil, contact US Ecology at americanecology.com or Nye County at nyecounty.net.
  • Material delivered to Pahrump Landfill where recyclables are diverted.

Amargosa Transfer Station – Located on Highway 373, seven (7) miles North of Long Street Inn Hotel Casino

  • Site open 7 days per week, 24 hour access.
  • Put all garbage inside roll-off boxes.
  • No hazardous materials. For information on hazardous material disposal, contact US Ecology at americanecology.com or Nye County at nyecounty.net.
  • Material delivered to Pahrump Landfill where recyclables are diverted.
